Our hemp is grown with care and dedication , following sustainable agricultural practices that respect the surrounding environment. A key element of our supply chain is our trusted producer, Anselmo da Santa Barbara . We have known Anselmo for years and his dedication to the cultivation of hemp is evident at every stage of the process. The raw material chosen comes exclusively from Italian crops .
We use varieties of Cannabis Sativa L. registered in the European Community register .
Contact with the growers is constant, so as to be able to guarantee high quality standards to the customer. We ensure that the cultivation processes comply with a series of precise requirements (such as harvesting and drying times).
Drying is essential, as if not done in time and at the right temperatures it could lead to the formation of mold and degradation phenomena, which would damage the entire product.
For Hentourage, the manual collection and separation of the raw material is fundamental. The hemp used, before moving on to the production phase, in particular extraction, the parts of the plant are separated by hand, so as to guarantee a high quality of the final product.

EXTRACTION
The main phase of the production process is precisely the extraction one.
The hemp, after having been subjected to a series of counter-analyses and tests to verify its quality, is cold chopped and, using various extraction methods, the active ingredients of interest (non-psychotropic cannabinoids, terpenes) are separated from it and removed substances that could damage the product in various ways.
To obtain a high quality extract we have implemented a combination of so-called "green technologies" extraction techniques including ultrasound extraction, so as not to subject the hemp to hypercritical extraction conditions (e.g. hypercritical extraction with CO2),
therefore a separation of the active ingredients from the plant matter in an ecological and delicate way,
always respecting nature.
Our process uses only food-grade solvents such as EtOH.
The substances of no interest (waxes, chlorophylls) are removed from the extract rich in active components and subsequently subjected to tests and analyzes to verify the quality of the product.
Once the quality control has been passed, the concentrated extract is diluted in MCT oil,
which allows greater bioavailability and a long shelf-life of the product (greater stability of the active ingredients given the series of short chains) and stored in eco-sustainable packaging.
